Service update
22nd Jan 2026 onwards
Following the temporary withdrawal of our hydrogen single‑deck buses, a decision taken as a precaution to ensure your safety and the safety of our drivers and colleagues, the vehicles remain under investigation.
To keep services running, we are currently operating buses kindly loaned to us by other operators from across the UK.
While this has helped us maintain services across the network, using unfamiliar vehicles has presented some operational challenges. In particular, sourcing spare parts for these borrowed buses can take longer than usual, which has affected vehicle availability.
As a result, there have been some cancellations, mainly on our busier routes, to allow us to continue running less frequent services where alternative travel options are more limited.
We understand how disruptive and frustrating cancellations can be and we are truly sorry for the inconvenience this may cause. Safety remains our absolute priority, and our teams are working tirelessly to manage these challenges, minimise disruption, and restore service levels as quickly as possible. We sincerely thank you for your patience and understanding during this unprecedented time. -
