Make travel even easier with our app

Before the new term starts, we recommend downloading the Metrobus app.

The app puts everything you need in one place, allowing you to buy tickets, check timetables, track buses live and plan journeys wherever you are. Having everything ready on your phone can make those busy school mornings much simpler and help students travel independently with confidence.

Child tickets

Child tickets can be purchased through our app. To access child fares, you'll need to complete a quick verification process. Full details of the accepted forms of identification can be found here.

A child key card is another great option for regular young travellers. Key cards are available from our Crawley and Redhill Travel Hubs. They can be topped up with tickets or used as proof of eligibility for discounted child fares when buying tickets from the driver.

If you're planning to apply for a key card, we'd encourage you to do so as soon as possible. Our shops are particularly busy in the run-up to the start of term, so applying early means you'll be ready to travel from day one.
