Temporary disruption caused by driver shortage

The UK's transport industry is experiencing a high level of driver shortages and sadly we are being affected by this. We are recruiting many additional drivers and expect the situation to improve in the coming weeks.

We have had to cancel some journeys at short notice and we apologise for the inconvenience caused by this. In order to provide more certainty from 27th November we would like to advise that some journeys on routes 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, 20 & 100 that may not operate. They will be at the same time each day. The journeys that may not operate can be found below. All other Metrobus routes are unaffected. 

Our aim is to help concentrate our driver resource to ensure that all early morning and evening journeys continue to run, as well as all journeys on other lower frequency routes. 

We will reinstate these journeys as soon as we are able to as the driver situation improves. We're sorry for any inconvenience in the meantime.
