Santa Bus 2025 delivers another magical year in Crawley
7 months ago

Our much-loved Santa Bus lit up Crawley for its fourth spectacular year in December, spreading Christmas cheer and raising vital funds for three local charities.
Santa Claus once again toured the streets of Crawley and beyond aboard his dazzling open-top bus, delighting families and communities across the town. Over four magical nights, the Santa Bus visited:
Copthorne & Forge Wood
Northgate, Gossops Green & Kilnwood Vale
Woodgate, Broadfield, Tilgate & Furnace Green
Crawley Town Centre, Maidenbower, Pound Hill & Worth
It was fantastic to see so many local people lining the streets to wave to Santa as the bus passed by, sparkling with festive lights, music, and plenty of Christmas magic. Santa’s little helpers also did an amazing job walking alongside the bus, collecting donations and spreading joy at every stop.
This year’s Santa Bus raised vital funds for the following charities:
St Catherine’s Hospice
Crawley Open House
Rotary Club of Crawley
Nina Gopal from St Catherines Hospice said:
"A huge thank you to our friends at Metrobus as well as all those who volunteered or donated to the 2025 Santa Bus event. Your kindness is so important in helping us to protect the future of our hospice."
Thanks to the generosity of the Crawley community, the 2025 Santa Bus raised an impressive £3,818.60!
Since the tradition began, the Santa Bus has now raised over £13,033 for local charities - and it couldn’t be done without the kindness and support of local residents.
The brilliantly generous volunteers dedicated a total of 272 hours over the 4 nights, collecting donations along the route in their red buckets and online via a GoFundMe page.
Rupert Cox, Interim Managing Director of Brighton & Hove and Metrobus, said:
“We’re thrilled to bring the magic to Crawley again this year, raising funds and sharing Christmas spirit along the way. Thank you to everyone who donates.”
