Metrobus successful at UK Bus Awards

We’re thrilled to share that two of our recent campaigns have been recognised at the prestigious UK Bus Awards.

Our ‘Make Your Move’ recruitment campaign came top in the ‘Recruitment and Retention’ category, recognising how this bold and eye-catching campaign (starring real-life drivers Jess, Josephine and Mike) was successful in attracting our highest ever proportion of female applicants.

In the Top Shire Operator category, we were awarded Silver for our pioneering hydrogen bus programme (the largest of its kind in the UK) as well as our work to continually enhance local services.

The UK Bus Awards champion the bus industry by recognising, rewarding and inspiring all those remarkable people that work within it, and honouring the achievements that keep communities connected and moving around the UK.
