Fare updates 1st February 2026

From 1st February 2026, a small number of fares across Metrobus will be updated. This reflects changes to East Sussex County Council’s Bus Service Improvement Plan (BSIP) funding. 

Only a limited selection of single fares and day tickets are affected. Longer ticket types, including annual and 90-day tickets, have not changed and remain at their current prices. The updated fares are shown in the tables below.

These updates apply only to journeys on the following routes:
- Route 270 - Danehill to Wall Hill Road
- Route 271 and 272 - St Georges Park to Wivelsfield Ote Hall Chapel
- Route 291 - Wall Hill Road to Groombridge Station Road
