A Very Metrobus Christmas

The North Pole is not the only place you’ll find Santa’s little helpers this Christmas…

As a thank you for travelling with us this year, and to mark the festive season, we’ve captured a sprinkle of behind-the-scenes magic from Metrobus, Brighton & Hove Buses and Spirit of Sussex. 

It’s been a fantastic year at Metrobus, with 16.5 million journeys (out of 63 million combined) in 2024!

We were listed in Route One’s annual livery competition for the Wrightbus GB Kite Hydroliner (Fastway), part of a fleet of Hydrogen buses operating on Fastway routes, demonstrating our ongoing commitment to reducing local emissions.

We also unveiled our brand new Pride Bus at Crawley Pride, took part in Catch the Bus Month with a focus on accessible travel fotr all, and extended our Route 420 to Horley, Gatwick South Terminal and Crawley.

Most recently we were delighted to round off the year with recognition across 2 categories at the UK Bus Awards, including Gold in the category Culture Change for ‘Training through dramatised storytelling’.
