We’re celebrating the route 500 with a two-day roadshow

We’re heading out on the road to mark the launch of route 500, a brand-new service operating between Eastbourne and Gatwick Airport from 9th May 2026.
Join us on Wednesday 6th and Thursday 7th May for a special two-day roadshow at some of the key locations along the new 24/7 bus route.

Come along and speak to the Metrobus team, pick up timetables and bus information, and get to know the new route 500.
The brand-new bus service will run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, linking Eastbourne, Hailsham, Uckfield, East Grinstead and Gatwick Airport.
Route 500 is a joint project launched in partnership with London Gatwick, East Sussex County Council and West Sussex County Council.
