Due to roadworks, East Grinstead High Street will be closed from Monday 22nd June until Wednesday 25th June between 20:00-06:00.
Buses will be unable to serve the following stops:

Please use Sackville School, A22 and Whitehall
Salmons Lane,Whyteleafe - Roadworks
Due to roadworks Salmons Lane,Whyteleafe is closed from Monday 15th until Friday 26th June. Routes 409 and 411 are currently on diversion from Banstead Road via Burntwood Lane and Whyteleafe Road.
The following stops are suspended until further notice:

Portley Lane
Buxton Lane, Ninehams Road
Salmons Lane Green
Please use Banstead Road, Recreation Ground and Radio Agency

Westway Common, Caterham - Diversion
Due to roadworks Westway, Caterham is closed from Monday 22nd June until Friday 26th June between 08:00 - 18:00 each day.
Route 400 is unable to serve Caterham, Westway Common.
Please use Hambledon Road and High Street
Roadworks - Stop suspension - Caterham Hospital
Due to roadworks on Church Road in Caterham, route 400,409,411,611 & 658 are unable to serve;
Caterham Hospital in both directions.
Passengers are advised to use Caterham, Court Road & Caterham Station
Copthorne Road, Copthorne - Diversion
Due to roadworks, Copthorne Road will be closed from Monday, 22nd June until Saturday, 27th June between 20:00 and 06:00 each night. Routes 272, 281, 291, and 400 will be on diversion.
Towards Crawley via Copthorne Way and Crawley Avenue, Hazelwick Avenue and will be unable to serve:
Petrol Station
Wyevale Garden Centre
Ridley's Corner
Worth Park Avenue
Three Bridges Station A
Passengers for the 281 please use Heathy Wood and Three Bridges Station (Stop D)
Passengers for the 291 & 400 please use Copthorne ,Church Lane and Three Bridges Station (Stop D)
Passengers for the 272, please use Copthorne Hotel and Three Bridges Station (stop D).
Towards East Grinstead, buses will be on diversion via Balcombe Road, M23 and Copthorne Way.
Buses will be unable to serve the following stops:

Blackheath towards (East Grinstead)
Route 272 and 400 passengers are advised to use the Copthorne Hotel and Ridleys Corner.
Route 281, please use Heathy Wood Payne and Ridleys Corner
Route 291, please use Copthorne, Church Lane, and Ridleys Corner
Service update
Following the temporary withdrawal of our hydrogen single‑deck buses, a decision taken as a precaution to ensure your safety and the safety of our drivers and colleagues, the vehicles remain under investigation.
To keep services running, we are currently operating buses kindly loaned to us by other operators from across the UK.
While this has helped us maintain services across the network, using unfamiliar vehicles has presented some operational challenges. In particular, sourcing spare parts for these borrowed buses can take longer than usual, which has affected vehicle availability.
As a result, there have been some cancellations, mainly on our busier routes, to allow us to continue running less frequent services where alternative travel options are more limited.
We understand how disruptive and frustrating cancellations can be and we are truly sorry for the inconvenience this may cause. Safety remains our absolute priority, and our teams are working tirelessly to manage these challenges, minimise disruption, and restore service levels as quickly as possible. We sincerely thank you for your patience and understanding during this unprecedented time.
Crawley Bus Station Improvement Works
The Crawley Bus Station improvement works will start on Monday the 26th of January.
Phase one of these works will involve roadworks along Station Way and should not have any effect on stops or services within the bus station itself.
There will be lane closures on Station Way which may cause some slight delays so please allow extra time for your journey.
The improvement works are expected to be completed within two years. Any updates and future phases will be updated within this post.
