Safe Haven scheme

Safe Haven's Scheme provides a safe place to go if needed.

The scheme offers help and support to anyone requiring assistance or unsure of their surroundings. Our travel shops in Brighton, North Street and also at Crawley bus station provide a safe haven if required.

Brighton & Hove Buses and Metrobus have been working in partnership with Alzheimer's Society, Guide Dogs, Possability People and many other charities and organisations for some time now, they have helped us implement schemes such as Safe Haven.

Our staff are all Dementia Friends, ensuring they can help provide support and assistance to someone living with dementia. Staff also receive MyGuide and disability awareness training.

If required staff can call upon expert help.

We are pleased to be offering this service and will continue to help and support where we can. We would like to thank all other charities and organisations for all their help and assistance with this.
