September Service Updates

27th Sep 2025 onwards

Below is a summary of the improvements to our services from Saturday 27th September.

20 - Revised route in Woodgate to serve new stops at Woodgate Primary Academy, Comber Street and St Catherine’s Hospice. The existing stop on Bensons Hill Road will no longer be served. Between around midnight and 0700, buses will continue to operate directly to Pease Pottage Services without serving Woodgate.

100 - Route revised to operate through Westvale Park via Meath Green Lane, Webber Street and Hoadley Road. During Monday to Saturday daytimes most journeys will terminate at Redhill Bus Station, with revised route 424 providing a service to Park 25 at these times. Route 424 also will be revised to provide a service along Horley Row, replacing route 100 over this section.

284 - Revised timetable introduced with an additional return journey on weekdays.

400 - Increased to every 30 minutes on Mondays to Saturdays, supported by funding from Gatwick Airport and Surrey and West Sussex Bus Service Improvement Plans.

420, 460, 480, 820 - New timetables introduced to improve reliability. Routes 420 and 460 together with the changes to route 400 will provide four journeys per hour operating direct between Crawley, Gatwick Airport, Horley, East Surrey Hospital and Redhill on Mondays to Saturdays.

422 - Replaced by updates to routes 100 and 424.

424 - Route revised to operate from Crawley Bus Station to Redhill Park 25 via Gatwick Road, Shipley Bridge, Copthorne, Burstow, Smallfield, Horley Station (main road), Horley, Horley Row, Westvale Park, Sidlow Bridge, Castle Drive, Woodhatch, Meadvale, Reigate, Timperley Gardens and Redhill Bus Station. A more frequent service from Westvale Park to Crawley, Gatwick Airport, East Surrey Hospital and Redhill will be provided by the changes to route 100.

594/595 - Minor timetable revisions introduced with no change to the level of service.
