To burn off all of those empty calories, Santa would now have to run for approximately 109,000 years. Good luck with that, Santa! - Rudolph is now his ninth reindeer after he was added to Santa’s reindeer team on one Christmas Eve during a bad snowstorm. Santa’s 8 reindeer could not see to fly through the storm. Rudolph with his glowing red nose lit the way for Santa’s sleigh and so now goes out with them every Christmas Eve
- Rudolph the Red Nosed reindeer is thought to be 82 years old.
- Santa Claus and Mrs Claus do not have any children, but they are thought to look after around 110,000 elves!
