One of the biggest events in the city, Brighton Pride, is back! With celebrations all over the city Pride timetables will be in place. All diversions are subject to roads reopening on time.
Route 600 shuttle service
During Pride weekend, shuttle service route 600 will run between Preston Park, the Old Steine, and the Waterhall Campsite. View the route 600 timetable and fares.
Thursday 30th July
From 20:00 - 04:00 the following morning, the A23 at Preston Road will be closed in both directions for the set up for the Pride Park area. During this time routes 271 and 272 will need to divert via Beaconsfield Villas and Preston Drove in both directions.
Friday 31st July - Monday 3rd August
Routes 271/272 towards Royal Sussex Hospital: from 21:00, the Sea Life Centre junction will be closed for Pride and will remain shut until 05:00 on Monday. 271/272 routes will divert between the Old Steine, Edward Street, Upper Rock Gardens and Lower Rock Gardens.
Saturday 1st August
From 10:00 routes 271 and 272: buses will be on diversion between Preston Drove and Royal Sussex County Hospital. Services towards Royal Sussex County Hospital will operate via Ditchling Road, Union Road, Elm Grove, Freshfield Road, Maresfield Road, Manor Hill, Manor Way, Whitehawk Road and Eastern Road. Services towards Crawley will operate via Eastern Road, Freshfield Road, Elm Grove, Lewes Road, Union Road, Ditchling Road and Preston Drove.
From 10:00 routes 270/273: buses will be on diversion between Preston Drove and Open Market, where the bus will terminate and restart at Union Road on northern side of the Level for journeys towards Crawley.
From 16:00 routes 270/273: buses will be on diversion between Preston Drove and The Steine via Ditchling Road, Union Road and St Peter's Church.
Sunday 2nd August
Routes 270/271/273: From 11:00 - 22:30 A23 will be closed in both directions for the festival in Preston Park. During this time routes 271 and 272 will need to divert via Beaconsfield Villas and Preston Drove in both directions.
