Real time information at bus stops

All of our buses are fitted with GPS tracking so we can provide you with real time information for where your bus is.

Some of the bus stops we serve are fitted with real time screens that show where the next bus is.

For those bus stops that don’t have the real time screens it is still easy to find out where your bus is. We have a number of ways that you can access real time information through mobile internet when you're at the stop.

Most bus stops in Sussex now include the following information on the bus stop timetable information panels:

QR Codes

Simply scan the QR code with your phone and it will take you straight to the real time information for that stop. You will find the QR code at the bottom of the timetable information panel.

NFC Tags

If you have a compatible phone hold it close to the NFC logo to be instantly connected to real time information for that stop. You will find the NFC logo at the bottom of the timetable information panel.

Text for times

Each bus stop has its own unique 8-letter code. If you're in Sussex text the relevant bus stop code to 84268 and you will recevie a text message reply with the 'real times' of the next three buses. Texts cost 25p plus your normal SMS network rate. You will find the 8-letter code at the bottom of the timetable information panel or on the small blue information panel (see left) located at every bus stop.
