• Fares are changing

    Tuesday, 15th January

On 15th January most fares will be changing.

Please find a summary of those changes below:

Changes to fares on bus - paying by cash or contactless to the driver

The £2.50 flat rate single fare in the Crawley, Horsham and Redhill/Reigate metrorider zones is frozen at £2.50 for an adult - the child flat fare single equivalent is frozen too.  The short hop fare is also frozen at £1.70 for an adult as is the equivalent child short hop fare.

Other single and return fares will see an increase of 10p or 20p - individual route fare charts have now been published and can be found against the relevant route here

Most day and weekly metroriders/metrovoyager prices will be increasing - as are point to point weeklies

If you top up your key card at our travel shops - at Crawley, Redhill and Gatwick -  it will be more expensive than buying online. If you currently buy at travel shops but want to switch to buying online click here to receive a password so you can log into your account.

Changes to m-ticket fares on the app

Most metrorider and metrovoyager prices are increasing on the app - the 60 minute metrorider tickets are frozen at £2.40 - the child equivalent 60 minute ticket also remains the same.

The individual 1 day ticket will become a 24 hour ticket on the app - so there will be no 0359 cut off, the ticket will countdown from 24 hours on activation.

We will be introducing a 4 day m-ticket - on all metroriders and the metrovoyager - this will run on consecutive days so aimed at shift workers.

Group travel tickets, such as Duos or Family day tickets, will have their prices frozen or reduced.  The Duo day tickets will also change to 24 hours in duration on the app.
