Route 93 - Mon-Sat approx. hourly. Sun 5 journeys

Route 93 serves the historic market town of Dorking with its mix of independent shops, larger name stores, and famous West Street antiques shops. The history and heritage of the town gives it a real sense of identity, and you can discover so much by following the Town Trail.
A breed of domestic fowl supposedly introduced to Britain by the Romans was named ‘The Dorking’, and the cockerel symbol is now everywhere; it is cast into the metal plates of the Town Trail, depicted on tea towels and cushions in the gift shops, and there is even a giant metal ‘Dorking’ sculpture on Deepdene Roundabout!
Also dominating the town is the magnificent St. Martin’s Church, with one of the tallest spires in England.
There is plenty to explore in the nooks and crannies of this charming town nestling in the Surrey Hills.
We recommend that you visit www.visitdorking.com before making your journey, or call the Tourist Information Centre on 01306 879327 for details about attractions in the area.
