In 2005 Dart SLF 301 was painted in an experimental livery of dark blue and steel grey. This has subsequently been adopted for new or refurbished low-floor buses at Crawley such as Omnicities 552-558, delivered in late 2005 for route 1, Dart SLFs 201-207 and new Scania double decks 953 & 954.
