— Metrobus was established with six vehicles in 1983 at Orpington in Kent and had expanded to some two hundred vehicles when acquired by the Go-Ahead Group plc in 1999. The company has subsequently grown further and now operates a fleet of over four hundred buses while employing well over 1000 members of staff.
— From 25th July Route 7 will operate every hour throughout the day from Maidenbower to Gatwick Airport. The route will also be revised to serve Three Bridges Station and Lowfield Heath. Click here to view the timetable and map for the new service.
