| How To Use Our Buses |

 |
| Making Your Journey |
 |
 |
 |
When you see the bus approach, raise your arm to indicate to the driver
that you wish it to stop.
Please have your season ticket, pass or money ready for when you get on.
If you are paying by cash, please state your destination clearly to the
driver and they will tell you how much the fare will be. If you wish to
purchase a discounted ticket (such as a child or senior citizens ticket),
please make this clear. Whilst we do provide change, it is appreciated if
the correct money can be tendered wherever possible to reduce the delay to
the service. However, we reserve the right not to accept £20 and £50
notes.
Please keep your ticket or pass with you throughout the journey, as
inspectors make regular checks on our buses. Failure to show a correct
ticket may result in a penalty fare or legal action being taken.
Take a seat and enjoy the journey. If no seats are available, please hold
tight.
Whilst you are on the bus, please have consideration for others:
- Please don't put your feet on the seats
- Please keep the volume down on personal stereos and keep the
use of your mobile phone to a minimum
- Please don't drop any litter on the bus
- The consumption of alcohol is not permitted
- All our buses are non smoking
When you want the bus to stop, simply press the bell once in good time and
remain in your seat until the bus comes to a stop. If the bus has two sets
of doors, you should alight from the centre exit.
When leaving the bus, please take all your belongings with you.
