The Arriva Horsham operation was taken over on 3rd October. 19 buses were involved, details of which can be found in the fleet list. However the Horsham town services utilised existing Metrobus Darts from day one. Six former Arriva Darts have now been repainted into Metrobus livery for further use. Further Scania Omnidekkas from the London fleet have now replaced all but a handful of the Volvo Olympians.
16 Scania Omnicity double deck buses (numbered 958-973) were delivered during September to replace older Scania Omnidekkas on route 64. However tree problems on that route have meant the buses have temporarily been allocated to route 119 as pictured here.
Delivery of a batch of thirty new Scania double deck buses with Optare Olympus bodywork (numbered 870-899) is now complete. These have replaced Dennis Tridents on routes 54 and 75, which had been hired from the previous operator, ELBG, to cover the service in the meantime. Details of the new buses can be found in the fleet list.
