Two Scania Omnicity N230 double deckers are on order and are due to arrive in June 2008 for routes 409/411 at Crawley. These will be the first double deckers to carry the latest blue livery. The remaining two Dennis Tridents (427/428) will be withdrawn once the new buses are in service.

Three new MAN 14.240/Enviro 200 single deck vehicles are also due to arrive in June, for route T32 from Croydon depot. They will be numbered 706-708.

Metrobus has been successful in gaining the contracts to operate London Buses routes 293 & 612 (from 30th August) and route 202 (from 13th September). 7 12m Scania Omnicity single decks, 3 Scania Omnicity double decks and 16 10.3m MAN single decks with MCV bodywork have been ordered for the new routes.

Ten 10.9m Scania Omnicity vehicles with part-leather seating entered service at Crawley on 10th May on route 100, which is now converted to Fastway status. The operations of First Orpington were taken over from 8th December. This included a fleet of 35 Marshall bodied Dart SLFs. A couple of pictures from the first weekend can be found below (click for larger image).
